I'm interested in hearing from others with leadership experience. What advice do you have on leading a team of artists? How do you deal with people who don't want to follow your direction, or are being difficult? How do you inspire people to do their best work?
I'd love to hear about your personal experiences dealing with the challenges of leadership within the world of VFX.
Thanks

Another big part of being a vfx supervisor in a facility is to be able to deal with the everyday politics internally and externally (clients) too. Being able to look at the bigger picture usually helps with dealing with the politics.
