I recently bought a brand new mic for my animation projects because I am developing a cartoon series and I obviously can't rely on soundboards for all of the dialogue. only problem is I am having a lot of difficulty getting clear sound. Does anyone know of a way to cancel out background noise using audacity? Or even just which filters to use to create a cleaner sound? Any advice would be appreciated.
Audacity is one of the best free sound editing programs out there. I love it.
I agree with others that say that Audacity is one of the best free sound editing programs out there. It has functions I haven't even begun to explore yet.
I've used it, just to play around with. It seemed kind of confusing at first, but I got the hang of it eventually. For some reason it kept crashing on my Mac but worked fine on my Windows laptop (shrug). I'm not sure about filtering the background noise through the computer...what kind of mic do you have? It's not omni, is it?
