AAU Is Without a SIGGRAPH Chapter!
I just discovered that AAU is without a SIGGRAPH chapter.
Here's a link with information as to how to start a chapter. You need 10 members to petition for status as an official chapter.

If you are still looking into finding people, I'd be glad to help, the last time I went to SIGGRAPH was in 05', I presented an academic poster for their VR section! I'm a MFA in the VFX program at AAU - but currently based in Tucson!

I can't believe that I never saw this post. Sorry about that!
Anyway, I graduated at the end of last year so I'm not eligible to coordinate a new SIGGRAPH chapter at AAU. If you're still willing, you should take the helm! Here's the link to the info.
