Bio
I am Björn Ahlstedt, a graduate student studying Entertainment Technology at Carnegie Mellon University. Throughout my undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh, I was involved with Theater and Film projects. After acting/editing an interactive stage show with Pitt’s Shakespeare in the Schools program, I ended up at the ETC. My professional goal is to work in the film industry as a compositor. I also enjoy web design, visual effects, and of course, I'm an avid gamer. My most recent work was done while studying in Manchester, UK for the Spring 2012 semester. I was the compositor on Team Madhouse for our location based interactive film project. We combined the mono drama Eight Songs for a Mad King by Sir Peter Maxwell Davies with visuals and interactions using the Microsoft Kinect.
